About
Life After Lies: Healing, Growth & Starting Over
Life After Lies is a heartfelt podcast for women navigating the aftermath of betrayal, divorce, heartbreak, abandonment, and major life transitions. Hosted by self-care and self-empowerment coach Michelle, the podcast creates a safe and honest space for healing, reflection, growth, and rediscovery. Through real conversations, personal stories, emotional insights, and practical encouragement, Michelle reminds listeners that healing is not only possible — it can become the beginning of an entirely new chapter filled with strength, peace, purpose, confidence, laughter, and joy. After walking through her own seasons of loss, reinvention, and emotional rebuilding, Michelle felt called to create a space where women could feel seen, understood, and less alone in their journey.
Her approach blends compassion, authenticity, self-reflection, and empowerment, helping listeners reconnect with themselves after life has knocked them down. In addition to hosting the podcast, Michelle has completed training in self-care and self-empowerment coaching and has spent years supporting friends, family, and women in her community through difficult life moments. Each episode of Life After Lies offers honest conversations about relationships, boundaries, grief, resilience, self-worth, personal growth, starting over, and learning how to trust yourself again. Whether you are in the middle of heartbreak, rebuilding after divorce, questioning your next chapter, or simply trying to find yourself again, this podcast is a reminder that your story is not over. This is more than a podcast about pain — it’s about healing forward, reclaiming your voice, and creating a life that feels authentic, peaceful, and truly your own.
A Vision for Healing & Hope
Life After Lies is a safe, compassionate, and empowering space for women healing from betrayal, heartbreak, divorce, abandonment, and major life transitions. Our vision is to remind every woman that her story is not defined by what she has endured, but by the strength she builds after it.
We believe healing is possible, even in life’s most broken seasons. Through honest conversations, shared experiences, and gentle encouragement, we support women in reconnecting with themselves, rebuilding confidence, and rediscovering joy in everyday life.
More than a podcast, Life After Lies is a movement toward emotional freedom, self-worth, and new beginnings. A space where women are reminded that even after everything falls apart, life can still become meaningful, peaceful, and beautiful again.
Meet the Hosts
Michelle Blanshei
I’m a Self-Care and Self-Empowerment coach, author, meeting planner and podcast host. I am also a grandmother, mother, dog mom, friend, and someone who knows firsthand how quickly life can change.
Like many people, I’ve lived through heartbreak, betrayal, loss, loneliness, and the difficult process of starting over. And somewhere along the way, I realized that healing isn’t about becoming who you used to be , it’s about reconnecting with who you are now and learning how to build a life that feels peaceful, authentic, and joyful again.
Over the years, I’ve naturally become the person people turn to during hard seasons of life. Whether helping friends through divorce, heartbreak, grief, or major life transitions, I discovered how much I care about creating safe, honest spaces where people feel seen, supported, and encouraged.
That passion eventually led me to complete certifications in Self-Care and Self-Empowerment Coaching, and to create my podcast, Life After Lies.
Through coaching, conversation, storytelling, and real-life experiences, my goal is simple: to help people stop feeling stuck in what happened to them and start believing in what’s still possible for them.
I believe healing happens one small step at a time.
I believe joy can exist even after heartbreak.
And I believe some of the most beautiful chapters of our lives can begin after everything we thought we wanted falls apart.
When I’m not working, you’ll probably find me on the golf course, spending time with people I love, laughing too loud, or reminding someone that they’re stronger than they think.
I’m really glad you’re here.
